3:04 I noticed this after recently watching the series from first episode. We have truly lost our way. Look at California in CHiPs and compare to today. Also....what smog? I don't see any in the show?

California seemed so much simpler and gentle in those days.

Officer Steve McLeish is now Officer Stella McLeish. 😂 It was nice of Michael Dorn to show up and support these events. He was so much more popular as the Klingon Worf in 5 movies and 3 series. My favorite Chippie: Larry Wilcox

9:32 - Until this part I had zero clue that Michael Dorn was on _CHiPS_ before TNG. This is awesome!

Two things I loved about _CHiPs_ apart from the cast was that they hardly ever had to draw their revolvers, and, like Mr Linke said, they used their heads to solve problems. • Personally, I don’t know why some of the crooks didn’t have pistols on them; because I’m sure real life was more violent than television. Perhaps it was because of the network censors and what happened to _S.W.A.T._ • Apart from that, I loved that most of the encounters I saw on the show didn’t require weapons yet required problem solving and lots of heart.

What a shame, that Erik Estrada couldn't participate in the reunion. He was just an amazing actor and a police officer as well. He and the rest of the cast are so beloved. I always will remember the series especially, the California Highway Patrol, I often go by their station in San Francisco every tine I go on the 19 bus to Starbucks. CHiPs is my favorite police show. Always and Forever.

The show was only on the air for 4 months when I was born back in January of 78' and it quickly became my favorite police show ever at the age of 2 and still remains my favorite to this very day

I was born in 80 have watched chips my whole life. Even today in 2023 I wake up and watch reruns every single day. I wish the world was like it was in that era people most definitely treated other different.
